Head of Delivery APAC at Metaco

Tessa Pang has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Tessa currently holds the position of Head of Delivery APAC at Metaco since 2023. Prior to this role, they served as a Board Member at The American Club Singapore starting in 2022.

Tessa started their career at IBM in 1999, where they held various positions. From 1999 to 2000, they worked as a Marketing & Media Analyst for IBM Regional AP, including Japan, Integrated Marketing Communications. Tessa then became a Senior Web Marketing, User Experience (UE) Strategist and Project Manager for IBM Global Industries from 2000 to 2003. In this role, Tessa developed and implemented digital strategies for 17 IBM Global Industry & Alliances business units. Tessa also led a web metrics tool implementation and training rollout.

From 2003 to 2005, Tessa served as a Project Manager for ibm.com Website Strategy, Development, Deployment, and Maintenance. Tessa was responsible for content management system design, application development, and worldwide deployment for two websites. Tessa also developed an efficient process for designing, developing, and deploying multiple IBM websites within a short timeframe.

Tessa then took on the role of Lead Project Manager at the IBM Project Management Office from 2005 to 2006. In this role, they led the Project Management Office for a $XXM Point-of-Sale Retail Program. Tessa'sresponsibilities included overseeing the architecture, application development, hardware, and systems integration solution for a Fortune 500 electronics retailer.

Returning to IBM in 2006, Tessa worked as a Project Manager for the IBM Global Centers of Competency. Tessa built a global skills center of competency in Brazil and India, leading a team of 15 and managing project planning, risks, issues, communications, and financial tracking. Tessa also contributed to customer opportunities and resource workload forecasts.

From 2009 to 2014, Tessa held multiple roles at IBM, including Adoption Program Manager and Change Consultant for the IBM Services Labor Transformation Program. Tessa managed the program's stakeholder management, governance board, and issues/risks matrix. Tessa was also responsible for scope, financials, change, and schedule management.

In 2014, they briefly served as a Program Manager for the IBM Corporate Services Corporation Leadership Program. Tessa then became an IBM Services Area Manager from 2009 to 2016, overseeing various projects and programs. Tessa also served as a Project Development Team Lead for the IBM GTS Business Transformation Enterprise programs, managing global client relationships, requirements processes, and release deployments across multiple teams.

In addition to their roles at IBM, Tessa worked as a Project Consultant at Ma'oli Health from 2016, specializing in strategy and business operations consulting for personalized nutrition, health, wellness, and sustainability. Tessa also served as Vice Chair of The American Club in Singapore's member committee, where they advised on F&B strategy, operations, and health/wellness/sustainability programs. Tessa provided strategic guidance for optimizing workflow and resource management for Living Manoa and Caring Manoa assisted living facilities. Tessa also conducted financial analysis and tracking for monthly expenditures at Ma'oli Health.

Tessa Pang attended Punahou School from 1983 to 1994. Tessa then pursued their undergraduate studies at American University from 1994 to 1996, majoring in Business Administration and Management. Tessa transferred to Georgetown University in 1996 and completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from there in 1999. During their time at Georgetown, they focused on International Business, Marketing, and also studied Japanese. In 1998 and 1999, Tessa Pang enrolled in a program at Sophia University, specializing in Intensive Japanese Studies.
