Carlos Serrano García-Lisón, CFA has a diverse work experience. Carlos is currently a Co-Founder at embat, starting in July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Investment Professional at TowerBrook Capital Partners L.P. from August 2020 to July 2021. Carlos also gained valuable experience at J.P. Morgan, where they held various roles including Investment Banking Associate from July 2019 to August 2020, Investment Banking Analyst from February 2018 to July 2019, and Wealth Management Analyst from August 2015 to January 2018. Before joining J.P. Morgan, they worked as a Business Consultant at Management Solutions, where they contributed to projects in the multinational Oil & Gas sector from July 2014 to July 2015. Carlos also completed an internship as a Quality Control Engineer at Dos Santos S.A.U. in March 2014, where they focused on analyzing quality assurance control and optimizing production processes. Overall, Carlos has a strong background in finance, investment banking, consulting, and quality control.

Carlos Serrano García-Lisón, CFA, obtained their Industrial Engineering Degree (Electricity major) from the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 2014. Carlos also pursued a Business Consultancy Master's degree with a focus on Strategy and Business Consultancy at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they studied at the Technische Universität Berlin from 2013 to 2014 as part of their Industrial Engineering Degree program.

Carlos completed their Kindergarten, elementary, middle school, and high school education at the American School of Las Palmas from 1995 to 2010. In 2008, they participated in a High School exchange program at Cherry Creek High School.

Additionally, Carlos obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter in September 2019, awarded by the CFA Institute.
