Emily Hoang

Emily Hoang is currently the VP of Engineering at Metadata.io, but they have plenty of experience in different aspects of software engineering. Emily started their career at Credit Sesame in August 2014 as a Technical Engineering Manager. In this role, they led a team of five engineers and was responsible for hiring, mentoring, and performance review. Emily was also heavily involved in designing and developing new microservices architecture and optimizing data retrieval time. In May 2017, they left Credit Sesame to join Chartio as a Sr. Software Engineer. At Chartio, they lead an integration project between Stitch, Panoply, and Chartio to provide Chartio’s clients with four new integrated datasources. Emily then left Chartio in September 2017 to join Metadata.io as their VP of Engineering.

Emily Hoang majored in computer science as an undergraduate at UC San Diego. Emily then went on to complete a Master of Science in computer science at San Diego State University.
