Ivaylo Georgiev has extensive experience in software development, specifically in Java and Ruby on Rails. Ivaylo started their career in 1997 as a Software Developer at Tonegan Ltd. From there, they worked at Cyberfort as a Java Developer. In 2000, they joined Webmessenger, Inc. as a Java Developer, before moving to Daisy Technology, Ltd. in 2001. Ivaylo then returned to Webmessenger, Inc. in 2003, where they developed an Instant Messenger Client for RIM devices. In 2004, Ivaylo joined Web.VU, Inc. as a Java Developer. In 2006, they joined Metadot Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented web portal software and developed web-based helpdesk software. Ivaylo also worked on custom web projects during their time there. In 2011, Ivaylo joined Crossroads Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and developed UI for StrongBox products. In 2012, they became a Partner at MetaVi Labs. Finally, in 2013, Ivaylo returned to Metadot Corporation as a Lead Software Engineer, where they architected, designed, implemented, and supported a helpdesk web service. Ivaylo used Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, MySQL, ElasticSearch, and worked on AWS.

Ivaylo Georgiev attended the Technical University of Varna from 1990 to 1995, where they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1989, they attended the High School of Mathematics in Dobrich, focusing on Computer Science. The degree obtained at the High School of Mathematics is not specified.
