Jun Hayashi

Jun Hayashi is a Principal at JIC Venture Growth Investments since December 2021 and serves as a Non-Executive Director at Metagen Therapeutics, Inc. from June 2023. Previous experience includes over a decade at Mitsubishi Corporation, where Jun held various roles including Manager of the Business Development Team, focusing on CCUS, bio-foundry, alternative protein, renewable LNG, and biofuels. Jun also managed strategic planning in the Basic Chemical Division, overseeing M&A and turnaround efforts, and conducted investment case analyses in the investment committee. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry & Biotechnology from The University of Tokyo.
