Scott Goss

Scott Goss currently serves as Global Privacy Counsel at Metagenics, providing privacy and data protection compliance guidance during the company's transition to a direct-to-consumer model, with a focus on HIPAA, U.S. laws regarding personal data, and GDPR. Prior to this role, Scott was with Qualcomm Incorporated for over 15 years, where responsibilities included leading a global privacy and data protection compliance program, serving as HIPAA Privacy Officer, and acting as Data Protection Officer for QT Technologies in Ireland. Scott has extensive experience in privacy compliance from previous positions at Claria Corporation, Tele Atlas North America, and Skjerven Morrill MacPherson. Scott earned a JD from the University of California, Davis - School of Law and a certificate in European Legal Studies from Tulane University Law School.
