Snigdha Chatterjee

Snigdha Chatterjee is a Scientist I at Metagenomi since September 2022, specializing in off-target analysis and next-generation sequencing (NGS). Previously, Snigdha completed a PhD in Botany/Plant Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, where research focused on the role of the target of rapamycin (TOR) and the R2TP complex in Arabidopsis thaliana and Nicotiana benthamiana from July 2017 to August 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Work Study Student and Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Department of Biology at Syracuse University from January 2014 to July 2017, where responsibilities encompassed maintaining lab cleanliness and investigating Jumonji-C domain proteins in plant defense. Snigdha holds a B.S. in Biotechnology from Syracuse University, earned between 2013 and 2017, and graduated from East Syracuse-Minoa Central High School in 2013.
