Gabriel Guedes

Gabriel Guedes is the COO and CFO of Lyka, overseeing the delivery of human-grade meals to dogs in Australia since October 2017. Alongside this role, Gabriel serves as an advisor and co-founder for various companies as well as an angel investor and advisory board member for multiple early-stage startups and non-profit organizations since May 2018. As a fellow at AfterWork Ventures since April 2021, Gabriel contributes to a community-led venture capital fund focused on pre-seed and seed startups. Additionally, as a venture partner at Metagrove Ventures since October 2021, Gabriel supports founders disrupting future industries across the US, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. Prior experience includes a notable tenure as an associate partner at Bain & Company, specializing in large-scale transformations for industrial clients, and earlier roles at Politecnico di Milano and Procter & Gamble. Gabriel holds an M.Sc. in Management, Economics and Production Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a B.Sc. in Production Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP.
