Mark Gies

Mark Gies has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mark has worked as the Director of Product Management and other Technical Stuff at S-5! Metal Roof Innovations since August 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Vice-Chair of the Mounting Systems Manufacturers Committee at Solar Energy Industries Association from 2016 onwards. Mark also held the position of PV Committee Member at the Structural Engineers Association of California (SEAOC) since 2012. Mark was a UL 2703 Standards Technical Panel Member at UL from 2011 to December 2019. Additionally, they held the role of Director of Sales and Products at Centroplan USA from September 2016 to April 2019. Mark's earlier experiences include serving as the VP of Applications Engineering, Codes and Standards at PanelClaw, Inc. from March 2009 to September 2016, and as the COO at Inventor's Workshop from May 2006 to March 2009.
