Gil Romano

Gil Romano has a strong background in engineering and naval architecture, with a focus on quality assurance and marine engineering. Gil has worked at Metal Shark Boats since 2011, starting as a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer before progressing to various management roles such as Engineering Manager, Senior Manager of Engineering, and Vice President of Engineering. In their current role as Vice President of Engineering & Quality Assurance, they oversee the company's engineering processes and maintains quality standards. Prior to Metal Shark Boats, they worked as a Naval Architect at NSWC - Carderock Division from 2009 to 2011.

Gil Romano attended the University of New Orleans from 2004 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering. The field of study during their time at the university was specifically focused on Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering.
