John Albert has extensive experience in the marine industry, currently serving as General Manager at Metal Shark since April 2009. In this role, John successfully resolved a significant production backlog by assembling and leading a high-performing team, bringing boat builds back on schedule. Additionally, John launched and leads The Finishing Shop, a specialized unit focused on delivering top-quality final detailing of vessels. Previous roles at Metal Shark include Facilities Manager, where supervision of up to 75 workers occurred, and positions as Electronic Technician and Marine Electrician. John also held the position of Manager at Island Boats, Inc., and before that, served as Purchasing Representative at Sugarcane Farm and Foreperson at Diamond B Marine. John holds degrees in A&P Technician, Aviation from Lafayette Technical and SLCC.
