Urs Scherrer

Urs Scherrer is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as CFO and Head of Group Controlling & Reporting at Metall Zug AG since April 2015, Urs has previously held significant positions including a member of the Board of Directors at HealthWatch Swiss AG from August 2013 to July 2018, and Head of Finance and Accounting at Edisun Power Europe AG from October 2012 to September 2014. Urs's earlier career includes a managerial role at KPMG Switzerland, overseeing audits and compliance from November 2004 to September 2012, and starting as a consultant at St. Galler Kantonalbank AG. Urs holds an Eidg. Dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer from Educaris Zürich and a degree in Betriebsökonom FH from Fachhochschule St. Gallen.
