Gabriel Dumitrescu

Gabriel Dumitrescu is a seasoned AI researcher with extensive experience in developing advanced technologies for content creation and machine learning applications. Currently serving as a Senior AI Researcher at Metaphysic.ai, Gabriel has pioneered initiatives in critical research areas, enhancing product photorealism and securing significant contracts. As CEO and Co-Founder of Chess Mate, Gabriel led the development of a mobile app for chess players using state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms. Previous roles include Machine Learning Engineer at METAMINDS Romania, where Gabriel contributed to a fitness app, and Sparktech Software, where Gabriel developed an OCR algorithm for invoice processing. Gabriel holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Bucharest, complemented by a startup accelerator program.
