Aurelijus Norkūnas

Aurelijus Norkūnas has a strong background in the technology industry, with a focus on software development and enterprise resource planning solutions. Aurelijus has held various leadership roles throughout their career. From 2007 to 2014, Norkūnas served as the Head of Business Unit at Alna Business, where they successfully led the sales team, established new partnerships, and onboarded large corporate accounts. In 2014, they became the CEO of FrontIT, leading an international team in custom software development, IoT, Fintech, and eCommerce. Under their leadership, FrontIT experienced increased revenue, successful management through the COVID-19 pandemic, and high employee satisfaction. Norkūnas also served as the CEO of Alna Business from 2016 to 2020, where they further expanded the company's sales efforts and established new business lines. In 2017, they took on the role of Chairman of the Board at Digital-Lithuania, an IT company cluster aiming to promote Lithuania's ICT sector and provide digital solutions. Norkūnas also served as a mentor at Women Go Tech in 2018 and joined Forbes Technology Council as an Official Member in 2021. Most recently, they have become the CEO of Metasite, where they lead international expert teams and implements sustainable business growth strategies for clients in the financial industry.

Aurelijus Norkūnas completed their education in various institutions. From 2003 to 2005, they attended Vilnius Lyceum for an undisclosed degree and field of study. Aurelijus then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Informatics with a major in Software Engineering at Vilniaus universitetas (Vilnius University) from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics with a major in Finance at the same university from 2010 to 2012.

Furthermore, Aurelijus Norkūnas obtained several certifications from Microsoft. In 2009, they became a Microsoft Certified IT Professional in Development for Microsoft Dynamics AX. In 2010, they obtained certifications in Installation and Configuration for Microsoft Dynamics AX, Database Administrator 2008, and Applications for Microsoft Dynamics AX, granted by Microsoft.
