Adam Bao

Adam Bao is the current Chief Operating Officer at Metatheory. Prior to this, they served as an Operator and Advisor at Shunwei Capital, where they founded the "Shunwei VC Podcast," the first ever English language, China VC focused podcast. Adam also served as an advisor at Shunwei portfolio companies Owlii and Segway-Ninebot. At Segway-Ninebot, Bao served as interim director of business operations for the robotics division and designed and ran a $1m+ Indiegogo campaign for a consumer robot product. Prior to joining Shunwei Capital, Bao worked as Strategy & Operations at Blippar and as Deals Strategy at Strategy& (part of the PwC network). Adam began their career as a summer analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Adam Bao completed their undergraduate degree in economics at Yale University.

Their manager is Kevin Lin, Co-Founder. They are on a team with Nelson Wang - VP, External Development, Thomas Shadwell - Security, and Jt Gleason - CTO.
