Johanna O'Shea

Johanna O'Shea is an accomplished legal and corporate governance professional, currently serving as Group Company Secretary at Metcash since July 2025. Prior to this role, Johanna held significant positions at ColCap from April 2021 to June 2025, where responsibilities included acting as 'counsellor-in-chief' to executive leadership while overseeing legal, company secretarial, and corporate governance functions across Australia, the UK, and the Philippines. Additional experience includes serving as Legal Counsel and Company Secretary at Westpac, Chief Legal Risk and Governance Officer at ColCap, and Group Legal Counsel at Commonwealth Bank, among others. Johanna's educational background includes a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia and dual degrees in Law and Arts from the University of Technology Sydney.
