Neil Whiteing

Neil Whiteing is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Group Chief Information Officer at Metcash since May 2024, Neil is a vital member of the Group Leadership Team, overseeing technology solutions across the business. Prior to this, Neil held prominent advisory positions with Pacific Equity Partners and EQT Group, and served as Director of Digital and Customer at The Hong Kong Jockey Club, managing the digital experience for over 2 million customers, which accounted for more than 70% of the Club's revenue. Other notable roles include Chief Technology Officer at Commonwealth Bank, where Neil was responsible for a substantial annual technology spend, and Chief Operating Officer at IAG, overseeing diverse operational functions. Neil's career began at Bain & Company, and educational credentials include an MBA from The Wharton School and a B.Comm (Hons) from the University of Cape Town.
