Bahadır Erkan started their career in 2011 as an Electrical and Electronics Engineer at TR Research & Development, where they later became a Senior Software Developer and eventually an Engineering Department Manager. In 2019, they joined Meteksan Savunma as a Lead Acoustics Systems Design Engineer.
Bahadır Erkan completed their Bachelor of Science in Advanced Signal Processing and Control Theory at Bilkent University from 2004 to 2008. Bahadır then went on to obtain their Master of Science in Wireless Networks from the same university between 2008 and 2011. Prior to their university education, they attended Ankara Atatürk Anadolu Lisesi from 1997 to 2004. Additionally, Bahadır Erkan has participated in various certification programs focused on emotional intelligence, effective learning, problem-solving techniques, teamwork culture, HTML, JavaScript, and search techniques for web developers.

Meteksan Defence Industry Inc. was established in 2006 in order to combine and coordinate the projects and activities of the high technology companies operating within the body of Bilkent Holding for the defense industry on a single roof.
