Philippe Palany

Responsable Recherche Et Développement Antilles Guyane at Météo-France

Philippe Palany has extensive experience in meteorology and consulting, currently serving as the Responsable Recherche et Développement for Météo-France Antilles Guyane since September 2008, where responsibilities include coordinating studies and research. Philippe Palany also contributes as a researcher at UMR CNRS 8053 PHEEAC since November 2015 and previously operated as a consultant for businesses from 2011 to 2015, focusing on organization, project management, and strategic guidance. Prior to these roles, Philippe Palany was Chief Operating Officer at Météo France International from 2002 to 2008, managing international projects and overseeing significant initiatives such as the modernization project for Qatar Civil Aviation Authority. Philippe Palany holds a PhD in Geography from Université des Antilles, a Master in Business Administration from IAE Bordeaux, and an engineering diploma in Meteorology from Ecole nationale de la Météorologie.
