Tom C. is a Research Engineer in Data Science at METEO FRANCE since September 2021, specializing in algorithmic processing of observation data and numerical weather prediction models for global forecasting. Prior experience includes an engineering internship in the Satellite Meteorology Research Department at CNRM, where Tom C. developed neural networks for satellite image simulation, and a weather forecasting project for Amazon Alexa that utilized unsupervised machine learning methods. Additional internships include contributions to climate modeling for in-flight icing hazards at CERFACS and climate data analysis at Guiana Space Centre's weather station.
