Barbara Scherrer

Barbara Scherrer is a skilled Softwareentwicklerin and Meteorologin currently working at Meteomatics since March 2022. Previously, Barbara served as a Scientific Assistant at ETH Zürich from February to May 2021, focusing on transforming a master's thesis into a scientific article. An internship at MeteoSchweiz from April to December 2020 involved project work in aviation climatology, where critical weather probabilities were calculated for Swiss airports and a new analysis routine was developed in R. Prior experience includes a position as a Teaching Assistant at ETH Zürich and a practical internship on a farm in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Barbara Scherrer holds a Master of Science in Atmospheric and Climate Science and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences from ETH Zürich, and is currently pursuing a teaching diploma in Geography at the same institution.
