Francesc Ferrer Alegre

Francesc Ferrer Alegre is the Director and Co-founder of Lab-Ferrer, S.L., a small and medium-sized enterprise specializing in scientific sensors and instrumentation for environmental biophysics research, agricultural production, and the food and pharmaceutical industries since June 1999. Additionally, Francesc serves as an Official Partner for METER Group and Apogee Instruments in Spain and Portugal, contributing to advancements in food research and measurement technologies. Experience also includes technical direction at eFoodPrint Services SL and distribution partnerships with ADC Bioscientific Ltd and UMS GmbH. Francesc holds a PhD in Irrigation, Agronomy, and Soils from Universitat de Lleida, as well as a Master of Science in Biological Systems Engineering from Washington State University and an Ag Engineer degree in Environmental Biophysics.
