Susan Wood

Susan Wood has held various roles throughout their work experience. Susan started their career as a Graduate Student at Johns Hopkins University in 1990 and continued until 1995. Susan then worked as a Director of Marketing at ISG Technology (now Merge Healthcare) from 1995 to 1997. Following that, they became the Vice President of Marketing at R2 Technology, Inc. from 1997 to 2004.

In 2005, Susan joined Vital Images as the EVP of Marketing and Product Development. Susan worked there until 2008. After that, they served as the President and CEO of VIDA Diagnostics, Inc. starting in 2009 and currently holds that position.

In addition to these roles, Susan has served on the Board of Directors for iCAD since 2018, as well as on the boards of Methinks AI and Presage Security starting in 2022 and 2021 respectively.

Susan Wood received their Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Maryland. Susan then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University from 1986 to 1988. Following this, they obtained their Ph.D. from The Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School of Hygiene and Public Health, completing their studies from 1990 to 1995.
