Dr Steve Downs

Dr. Steve Downs is an experienced Associate Professor of Applied Forensic Science at Methodist University, where responsibilities include teaching hands-on courses to undergraduate students since July 2014. Prior to this role, Downs served as a Forensic Science Senior Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, educating federal law enforcement personnel from various agencies. With over 25 years as a CID Special Agent in the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command, Downs began a career in Nuremberg, Germany. Additional teaching roles include online instruction and course development at Saint Martin's University and Central Texas College. An extensive educational background includes a Doctor of Business Administration in Criminal Justice from Northcentral University and a Master's in Forensic Science from The George Washington University.
