Beng Zhen Yeow (MingZhen)

Beng Zhen (MingZhen) Yeow has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Currently, they serve as the Head of FAM@FSC at Methodist Welfare Services, where they established a new counseling service for couples and families. Beng Zhen has also worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at Singapore University of Social Sciences and Northumbria University's School of Health and Life Sciences, where they taught and supervised students. Additionally, they served as a WSQ Certified Adult Educator/Trainer at Social Service Institute and as an Education Advisor/Managing Director at Kids Hub Education Centre. Beng Zhen has also held positions at AMKFSC Community Services Ltd, Singapore Association of Social Workers, 21st Century Learning Pte. Ltd., and Kiddz Inc Pte Ltd, where they gained experience in social work, entrepreneurship, and education. Throughout their career, Beng Zhen has demonstrated their expertise in social services and their ability to manage teams and programs effectively.

Beng Zhen (MingZhen) Yeow has an extensive education history that spans across various fields of study. In 2004-2007, they attended Ngee Ann Polytechnic and obtained a diploma in Early Childhood Education, specializing in Early Childhood Education and Teaching. Later, in 2009-2011, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Social Work at Monash University.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Beng Zhen continued their education with several certifications and postgraduate programs. In 2013, they obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Systemic Thinking and Approaches from Counseling and Care Centre. The following year, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Working with Couples and Families: A Systemic Approach at the same institution in 2014-2015.

In 2016-2018, Beng Zhen enrolled at Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) to pursue a Master's degree in Non-Profit Management. Additionally, in 2017, they received a Post Graduate Certificate in Working with the Emotional World of Children from Counseling and Care Centre. In 2019, Beng Zhen furthered their expertise by completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Family-Based Casework Supervision Training for FSCs at Counselling and Care Centre.

Most recently, in 2021, Beng Zhen attended the Institute for Adult Learning Singapore, where they gained an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) Certification, specializing in WSQ Advanced Certificate from SkillsFuture.
