Panos Theodossopoulos

Panos Theodossopoulos has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the technology and maritime industry. Panos is currently the CEO of METIS Cyberspace Technology, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Digital Officer at OCEANKING Technical & Trading S.A., where they were responsible for leading the company's business development and sales of digitalization services in the shipping industry.

Before joining OCEANKING, Theodossopoulos was the Co-Founder and CEO of Propulsion Analytics, a start-up company specializing in maritime digitalization. During their tenure, they established strategic partnerships with global market leaders in the industry.

Their previous experiences include serving as the General Manager at Logicom Solutions and holding multiple positions at SingularLogic and Microsoft Hellas, including General Manager of the Cloud Division and Director roles in the Public Sector and Technology departments.

Theodossopoulos began their career as the Director of the Software Division at European Dynamics, where they were responsible for managing a team and overseeing IT projects for public sector organizations. Their expertise includes business development, digital transformation, and leading technology initiatives.

Panos Theodossopoulos holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, which they obtained between 1990 and 1995. Prior to that, they completed their M. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at Tufts University from 1985 to 1987. Panos began their educational journey by obtaining a B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from The Catholic University of America, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. In addition, Panos Theodossopoulos has recently obtained a certification in Virtual Selling for Sales Professionals from LinkedIn in 2021.
