Ranil De Silva has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ranil has served as the Head of Corporate Finance at Metito since September 2022 and was previously the Group Manager for Corporate Finance and Planning from September 2019 to November 2022. In addition, Ranil has worked as a Supervisor for Management Field Study Research Projects at the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) since October 2021. Ranil has also held positions such as Treasurer at Dubai College, a member of the Local Advisory Board of Governors at GEMS Wellington International School, and Board Internal Auditor at the Sri Lankan Professionals Association UAE. Furthermore, Ranil has been actively involved in organizations like the Lanka Lions Sports Club, UAE, where they served as the Past President and Trustee, and PIMA-UAE, where they held the role of Secretary. Ranil also has extensive experience in the treasury and insurance field, serving as a Group Manager at NESR, a leading oil and gas services provider, from 2007 to 2019. Ranil's contributions extend beyond their professional career, as they have also dedicated their time to be a World Rugby Referee and Chairman of the Wellington International School Parents Association.

Ranil De Silva completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) between the years 2015 and 2017. Ranil obtained their Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Accounting and Finance from Kingswood College, Kandy, from 1981 to 1996. Additionally, they completed their GCE- Ordinary Level and Advanced Level at Kingswood College, Kandy Sri Lanka, between 1985 and 1995, with further studies at the Sri Jayewardenapura University - Post Graduate Institute of Management.
