Christos Venetis

Christos Venetis is an experienced professional in waste management, currently serving as Solid Waste Manager and Head of Proposals at the Environmental Division for METKA since June 2023. Prior to this role, Christos held the position of Project Manager at MYTILINEOS S.A. from March 2022 to May 2023, and served as Senior Manager for Waste Disposal Technologies at BASF from January 2019 to February 2022. Additional experience includes Project Manager and Waste Management Expert roles at both ICP Engineering Company Prof. Czurda and Partner mbH (May 2016 - December 2018) and EPTA Environmental Engineers – Consultants (November 2008 - April 2016). Christos began a career in waste management while studying as a Student Assistant at RWTH Aachen University, where a degree in Waste Management Engineering was earned between 1999 and 2007.
