Ariel Roitman

Ariel Roitman, FRM, possesses extensive experience in risk management, primarily in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer for Chile and Uruguay at MetLife since October 2013, Ariel previously held positions overseeing risk management in Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia, as well as heading Asset & Liability Management for the Latin America region. Prior to MetLife, Ariel held various roles, including Head of Market Risk at Banco Columbia S.A. and Derivatives Structuring at HSBC Bank Argentina. With a background that encompasses managing market, liquidity, and interest rate risks, Ariel has also contributed to the development of financial models and educational programs in treasury and risk management. Education includes a Financial Risk Manager designation from GARP and ongoing CFA studies, complemented by an academic foundation in economics and electronics.
