Tj van Eck

TJ Van Eck has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They have held various roles in companies across different industries. From 2009 to 2010, TJ worked as an Information Technology Support Technician at Bmk Technologies Inc. They then moved on to BMW Group South Africa, where they served as an Information Technology Help Desk Manager from 2010 to 2015, and later as an HR Systems Team Lead from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, TJ joined Airways New Zealand as a Business Analyst, focusing on replacing the Financial Management Information System. From 2020 to 2023, they worked at The Selwyn Foundation, taking on different roles such as ICT Systems Manager and Account Manager to Haumaru Housing, Acting Chief Information Officer, and Director of IT. Currently, TJ is the Head of Digital Products at Metlifecare. Throughout their career, TJ has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in IT management, project management, change management, and vendor management.

TJ Van Eck has a diverse education history. In 2008, they obtained a diploma in Network Engineering from Torque-IT. Continuing their education, they pursued a certificate in SAP HCM from SAP South Africa. In 2014, they attended AXELO and received an ITIL Foundation Certificate in Service Management. In 2017, TJ Van Eck attended Qlik and completed a course in Qlikview designer and developer, focusing on business analysis. TJ then enrolled at Aspire2 International in 2020, where they completed a Business Management Program, specializing in Business Management and Leadership. Concurrently, TJ Van Eck also pursued a Master of Digital Business degree at The University of Waikato during the same period. In 2020, they took additional courses, including a certificate in Agile Project Management from Torque-IT and a ServiceNow Fundamental certificate from NowLearning. Lastly, they completed a certificate course in the Agile Product Owner role: Foundations from Lynda.com in 2020.
