Nicolas Gaussel

Nicolas Gaussel is the current CEO and co-CIO at Metori. Nicolas has over twenty years of experience in the financial industry.

Gaussel started their career as a quantitative researcher at HSBC in 1996. In 2001, they moved to Societe Generale, Alternative Investments, where they were responsible for supervising sales platforms in Tokyo and Hong Kong. In 2009, they joined Lyxor Asset Management as Chief Investment Officer. During their seven years there, they oversaw teams of investment professionals and contributed to the development of Lyxor's product offerings.

In 2016, Gaussel left Lyxor to become CEO and co-CIO at Metori. Metori is a quantitative asset management firm that specializes in systematic and rules-based investing. Under Gaussel's leadership, Metori has grown rapidly and now has over $10 billion in assets under management.
