Kate Richard

Founder, CEO & Co-CIO at Warwick Investment Group

Kate Richard is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Warwick Investment Group, a global investment firm investing capital in the real estate, energy, sports and entertainment sectors on behalf of US and international pension funds, institutions and families.

Kate founded Warwick in 2010 and has been involved in all phases of Warwick’s development since its founding. Today the firm has ~70 investment professionals in London, New York, Hong Kong and Oklahoma City. The firm has completed over 1,100 transactions since its inception and has approximately $2 billion in managed assets.

Prior to founding Warwick, Kate invested in public and private investments for MSD Capital, Michael Dell’s private investment fund in New York. From 2007 to 2009, she invested in public and private debt and equity for Serengeti Asset Management, a multi-strategy investment fund based in New York. She began her career at Goldman Sachs, working in real estate private equity and investment banking in New York, London and Paris. Kate has previously served on the Boards of Directors of Flotek Industries, Inc. (NYSE: FTK), Imerys, SA (EPA: NK), a Paris-based industrial conglomerate, and Abraxas Petroleum Corp (NASD: AXAS).

Kate graduated from Harvard College with a degree in History and a focus on post-colonial theory. She is a member of the US Humane Society, World Economic Forum (YGL), Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and US Figure Skating. She is a lifetime member of the Harvard College ’04 Executive Committee and the Harvard College Fund Associates Committee. She is a past lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and Harvard Business School and frequent market commentator on CNBC and Bloomberg TV.
