Mayur Shinde

Mayur Shinde is a Mechanical Engineer with a comprehensive background in advanced engineering applications, currently serving as a Mechanical Engineer CO-OP at MetOx International since January 2025. Mayur has experience in the MOCVD department, utilizing SolidWorks for design development and leading CFD simulations to enhance deposition efficiency of superconducting tapes. As a Graduate Student and Instructional Assistant at the University of Houston, responsibilities include assisting undergraduate students in Fluid Mechanics applications and teaching FEA & CFD analysis using Ansys software. Previous positions include working as a System Engineer and Aerothermal Engineer at Infosys, where Mayur focused on thermal analysis for turbine components for the Trent XWB-84 EP Gas turbine engine. Additional internships provided opportunities for product design and structural analysis, solidifying expertise in CAD modeling and engineering principles. Mayur holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
