Jorge Calderon

Jorge Calderon, MS, is a seasoned PTC Systems Engineer at Metra Commuter Rail since March 2018, with extensive experience in systems engineering and project management. Previously, Jorge served in various leadership roles at Motorola Solutions from 1997 to 2018, including Systems Engineering Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing teams for public safety wireless network systems, and Upgrade Operations Engineer Section Manager, overseeing complex system upgrades. Early career positions included Senior System Engineer, where collaboration facilitated the design and implementation of Motorola ASTRO P25 communication systems. Jorge holds a Master of Science in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University.
