Chris Degroote

Chris Degroote has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 1997, they worked as an Operations Manager at Ryder Integrated Logistics. Chris then moved on to System Software Associates in 1998, where they served as an Application Programmer/Analyst. From 2000 to 2003, they worked as a Technical Consultant at Manugistics. Following this, they joined Supply Chain Technology Solutions as an Independent Technical Consultant from 2003 to 2011.

In 2011, Degroote became the Director of IT - Supply Chain/Finance Design and Delivery at Avon Products. During their time there, they managed various projects, including the Avon North America divestiture, global applications migration, and Oracle JDE E1 and JDA Advanced Planning upgrades. Chris held this role until 2018.

Following their tenure at Avon Products, Degroote worked as a Business Development Consultant at ZAM Apps, Inc. in 2019 and an Information Technology Consultant as an Independent Consultant during the same year. Later in 2019, they became the Director of Supply Chain IT at Parallel, where they were responsible for the enterprise information technology and delivery of various systems such as Seed to Sale tracking, WMS, and Advanced Planning.

From 2022 to 2023, Degroote served as the Senior Director of Enterprise Data, Integration, and Analytics at Parallel. In this role, they oversaw data integration and analytics initiatives within the organization. Additionally, they worked as an IT and Data Consultant at Metrc, where they strategized and planned the startup of data operations, warehousing, and analytics for the world leader in cannabis regulatory trace and trace software and compliance reporting.

Currently, Degroote holds the position of Vice President of Data and Analytics at Metrc, starting in 2023.

Chris Degroote has a BS in BA in Logistics Management from Central Michigan University. Chris also attended a CIO Leadership Workshop at Columbia University, where they studied Information Technology.
