Petra Odentun

Senior Remote Sensing & GIS Specialist, Project Manager at Metria AB

Petra Odentun has extensive work experience in remote sensing, GIS analysis, and project management. Petra has worked at Metria AB since May 2007, where they specialize in remote sensing, environmental and geographical analysis, and statistics. Petra has led and worked on projects for Swedish Environmental Agencies and National Agencies, as well as international projects. Additionally, in March 2007, they served as the Conference Administrator for the "PLATINA People Land and Time in Africa" workshop, where they were responsible for preparing, coordinating, and booking participants from around the world.

Petra Odentun attended Stockholm University from 1999 to 2005. During their time at the university, they studied various subjects including Biology, Physical Geography, Remote Sensing, GIS, and Geography. Petra did not obtain a specific degree during this period.

In addition to their university education, Petra Odentun has also obtained several certifications. In 2008, they received certifications in "Båtpraktik/mörker" and "Kustskepparintyg" from Nämnden för båtlivsutbildning NFB. In 2009, they obtained a "Körkort, B" from the Swedish Transport Agency. Furthermore, in 2010, they participated in eCognition Training and received a participation certificate in "Workflows and General Analysis Strategies".
