Rubén Saavedra Pascual

Rubén Saavedra Pascual has a diverse work experience in various fields. In 2006, they worked as a virology analyst at GSK, where they contributed to the discovery and production of biopharmaceutical products. The next year, they joined UCB as a development associate, focusing on method development and characterization for biological assays. In 2008, they became a PhD student at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience, studying nerve regeneration after spinal cord injury. Their research specifically focused on the molecular mechanisms behind olfactory nerve regeneration. In 2013, Rubén co-founded Metrica Sports and served as the CEO. The company aimed to provide clubs with tools to transform data into actionable insights for customized analysis.

Rubén Saavedra Pascual pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from 2000 to 2005 at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
