Matthew Abela

Matthew Abela is an accomplished investment professional with extensive experience in real estate debt and equity transactions. Currently serving as Investment Director at Metrics Credit Partners since August 2021, Matthew focuses on credit and portfolio risk management while previously holding the role of Associate Director where responsibilities included structuring real estate debt facilities. Prior experience at National Australia Bank from January 2011 to July 2021 encompassed various positions, including Associate Director in Fund Finance and Property sectors, where Matthew achieved successful outcomes in debt transactions and deal origination. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from UNSW and completed education at St Patrick's College, Strathfield.
