Chris MacDonald

Chris MacDonald has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Chris began their career at Canadian Medical Protective Association, where they worked as a Web Application Developer for two 4-month co-op terms. Chris then moved on to the University of Waterloo Alternate Fuels Team, where they served as a Web Developer and later became the UWAFT Webmaster.

In 2008, Chris had two co-op terms, first as a Web Developer at QuinStreet Inc, and then as a UI Software Developer (Co-op) at IBM Canada Ltd. Chris then transitioned into a full-time role at IBM Canada Ltd as a UI Software Developer and later an iOS Software Developer.

In 2012, Chris joined Dell as a Senior UI Software Engineer and contributed to the company until 2016. Chris then worked at XtremeEDA as a Senior Software Developer for a year and a half before joining Metrics Design Automation in 2017, where they currently serve as a Senior Software Developer.

Chris MacDonald attended the University of Waterloo from 2004 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering.
