Ross Kitsis

Ross Kitsis has a diverse work experience history. Ross began their career as a Desktop Support Technician (Work-Study) at York University in 2011. After that, they worked as an IT Support Specialist at Broadview Software from 2012 to 2014. Following this, they took on the role of a Graduate Teaching Assistant at York University in 2015. In 2016, they joined TELUS Communications as part of the Graduate Engineering Leadership Program - EIT, where they contributed to various projects involving Python, Nuage VSPK API, and AWS. In 2017, Ross served as a Blockchain Engineer at both Nuco and AION, where they contributed to the research and development of blockchain algorithms, mining pool development, and blockchain interoperability protocols. Ross then joined Akamai Technologies in 2019 as a Software Engineer II, and later became a Senior Software Engineer. Currently, Ross Kitsis is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Metrika since April 2022.

Ross Kitsis earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from York University, which they attended from 2009 to 2014. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing it from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Ross obtained several certifications, including a VMware Certified Professional 6 certification from VMware in November 2017, a Cisco Certified Network Associate certification from Cisco in July 2015, and a CompTIA A+ ce certification from CompTIA in September 2011.
