Alexandra Phan

Alexandra Phan, MSc, is a Senior Medical Writer and Design Specialist at Metrix, where they independently create training and promotional materials for diverse therapeutic areas. They have served as a Freelance Medical Editor for Cactus Communications and an English Editor for MDPI, ensuring scientific manuscripts are polished and adhere to guidelines. With a background in scientific research from the University of Pittsburgh, Alexandra has contributed to various organizations, including Ally Squared and the Ottawa Institute of Systems Biology, focusing on advocacy and writing. Alexandra's passion for science writing extends to creative projects, having edited for a student science journal and published short stories and poetry. Currently, they pursue a Master's degree in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Ottawa.
