Stephanie Almeida

Stephanie Almeida is a seasoned professional in medical writing and learning design, currently serving as Manager at Metrix since March 2021 after roles as Senior Medical Writer and Learning Solutions Designer. Previously, Stephanie held the position of Medical Editor at Klick from September 2018 to March 2021 and served as a Research Fellow at The Hospital for Sick Children from March 2015 to June 2018, where contributions included significant projects on Rett syndrome and active leadership in various committees. Early in their career, Stephanie coordinated the SciHigh program at Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, facilitating science outreach to students and driving volunteer engagement. Educationally, Stephanie earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and a B.Sc. in Cellular and Molecular Biology, both from the University of Toronto.
