Richard Hartley-Parkinson is an experienced journalist with a diverse background in various editorial roles across prominent news organizations. Since September 2014, Richard has been with Metro, serving in multiple capacities including Executive Editor, Deputy Editor, Acting Editor, and Assistant Editor. Prior to that, Richard worked as the Digital Editor for news at Daily Mirror from January 2014 to August 2014, and as the Assistant News Editor at Daily Mail Online from November 2010 to January 2014. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Reporter at INS News Agency and Johnston Press from September 2008 to July 2010. Richard holds an NCTJ qualification from Liverpool Community College, completed in 2006.
