Claire Howorth

Claire Howorth serves as the Executive Editor at Vanity Fair since March 2018 and is also an Adjunct Instructor at New York University since October 2020. Previously, Claire held the position of Assistant Managing Editor at Time Magazine from October 2014 to March 2018 and worked as a freelance writer and editor from December 2012 to October 2014, contributing to various publications including T: The New York Times Style Magazine, WSJ. Magazine, and ELLE. Claire's editorial experience includes serving as Features Editor at The Daily from November 2010 to December 2012, overseeing the Arts & Life section, and as Arts Editor for Newsweek and The Daily Beast in mid-2010. Claire began a career at Vanity Fair as an Editorial Associate from November 2006 to June 2010, assisting in editorial coordination. Claire holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder and completed the Columbia Publishing Course in 2004.
