Rebecca C. Guiao serves as a Senior Assistant Attorney at Metro since December 2021, with prior experience as an Attorney Advisor at Bonneville Power Administration from December 2015 to December 2021 and as an Assistant Attorney General at the Oregon Department of Justice for a brief period in 2015. Before these roles, Rebecca held positions as a Policy Intern at the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission and an Endangered Species Program Assistant at The Xerces Society. Earlier in the career, Rebecca worked as an Associate at Stoel Rives LLP and held law clerk positions at the Oregon Department of Justice and Bonneville Power Administration. An internship at the US Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution further complements Rebecca's extensive background in environmental law, policy, and natural resource issues. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from Lewis & Clark Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law, Diversity, and Justice from Western Washington University.
