Will Cortez

Will Cortez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management, education, and operations. Currently serving as the Accessibility Project Manager at Metro Parks & Nature since January 2021, Will advances and implements the ADA Transition Plan and supports accessibility initiatives across multiple departments. Previous roles include Construction Project Manager at Metro Waste Prevention & Environmental Services, where project oversight involved smaller-scale capital improvements, and Project Coordinator at Oregon Zoo, where responsibilities encompassed maintenance and construction projects. Will began a tutoring career in academics and held various instructional roles, including Math Instructor and Freshman Advisor. Will's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Psychology from Portland State University.
