Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is an experienced logistics and freight management professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Managing Director, Chief Commercial Officer, and Ocean Freight Director at Metro since August 2021, Andrew previously held multiple leadership roles at Kuehne+Nagel from April 2001 to July 2021, including Vice President - Head of Trade Middle East & Africa and Vice President - Sea Logistics Operations Middle East & Africa. Andrew's extensive background also includes various managerial and operational positions, such as Director of Seafreight Operations and National Seafreight Operations Manager. Andrew commenced a career in logistics as an Export Apprentice at Metro from July 1998 to February 2001.
