Anna Emanova

Anna Emanova has extensive work experience in various safety and health roles. Anna is currently working at METRO AG as the Head of Corporate Safety, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Expert Operational Safety at METRO AG from November 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining METRO AG, Anna served as the Global QHSE Manager at Bitfury from April 2018 to October 2019. Anna also held positions at Gazprom Neft, where they were the Head of HSE Expert Department (Downstream) from January 2016 to April 2018, and the Head of Industrial Safety, Labor Safety, and Civil Protection from July 2014 to December 2015.

Their earlier experience includes working as an EHS Manager at Alstom from January 2014 to April 2014, Deputy General Director at SSI SCHÄFER from June 2013 to December 2013, and Health and Safety Manager at SSI SCHÄFER from September 2011 to May 2013.

Anna's career began at General Motors as a Health and Safety Supervisor from February 2008 to September 2011. Prior to that, they worked as an EHS Engineer at Alcan from January 2006 to February 2008 and as an Ergonomic Engineer at Ford Motor Company from March 2005 to December 2005.

Anna started their career as a Safety Engineer at Gazprom from January 2001 to October 2004.

Anna Emanova obtained a diploma in Safety Engineering from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) from 1995 to 2000. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including NEBOSH IGC in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH in January 2017, IOSH Managing Safety from ANNTARA MANAGEMENT LIMITED in December 2016, OHSAS 18001 Auditor - Health & Safety Certification from Check Point in July 2006, and HUET from Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding in February 2017.
