Clara Salarich has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Clara started their career in 2011 as a Programme Assistant at the European Climate Foundation, where they managed budgets and supported projects in the climate change and governance sectors. In 2013, they joined SUB Erste Lesung GmbH, a political consultancy, where they served as a Public Affairs Executive and later became the Head of Office/Consultant. In 2016, Clara worked as an EU Public Affairs Consultant at the European Fintech Alliance. Since 2017, they have been with METRO AG, holding positions such as Manager EU Affairs, Head of Public Policy EU, and currently serving as the Head of Corporate Responsibility Management.

Clara Salarich's education history begins in 2003 when they attended Universidad de Granada, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Politics and Public Administration. Clara completed their undergraduate studies in 2007. In 2007-2008, Clara studied Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic at the University of Exeter. Moving on, in 2008-2009, they attended the College of Europe to pursue a Master of Arts degree in European Political and Administrative Studies. Lastly, in 2023, Clara enrolled in the Business Sustainability Management Programme at the University of Cambridge. Clara'sstudies focused on Sustainability Studies within the program.
