Lars Wiesner

Lars Wiesner is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering leadership, product development, and organizational transformation. Currently serving as Interim Head of Country IT at METRO AG and Tech Board Advisor at CustomSurg, Lars also owns LW - Engineering Consulting Services, focusing on interim CTO roles, engineering consulting, and board advisory. Previously, Lars held the position of Interim CTO at METRO.digital and SVP of Product Engineering and Operations at Devo, where significant achievements included driving 3x revenue growth and optimizing costs. Notable previous roles include VP of Software Engineering at Selligent Marketing Cloud and VP - Head of Retail Software Products at Diebold Nixdorf, in addition to an impactful tenure at SAP as Chief Product Owner and member of the Extended Global Leadership Team. Lars holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and has completed multiple advanced management programs at prestigious institutions such as MIT and INSEAD.
